OUR ORIGINS
The story of Blueish is rooted in a deep understanding of craft and materials.
More than three decades ago, our founder developed an early fascination with denim — drawn to its character, versatility, and the way it evolves with time. What began as curiosity gradually became a lifelong exploration of garment making, from fabric construction to the subtle details that shape the perfect fit.
Over the years, that journey led deeper into the world of craftsmanship in Thailand, where decades of hands-on experience fostered a deep understanding of textiles, materials, and the art of making clothing that lasts.
While denim remains an important foundation of that heritage, the same knowledge and curiosity naturally expanded into working with other thoughtful materials — from organic cotton to hemp and carefully sourced natural blends — shaping a broader approach to design.
The path eventually extended to London, where an early venture, Flying Horse Jeans, took shape on Newburgh Street in 2010. That chapter became a meaningful stepping stone, reinforcing the belief that meaningful design requires patience, experience, and integrity.
From those lessons, House of Blueish emerged — a brand guided by thoughtful design, shaped by decades of material knowledge, and grounded in the belief that clothing should feel personal, honest, and enduring.
Today, Blueish continues that journey — creating garments that reflect not only our style, but the values we choose to live by.
